Theatres to open soon: RGV ready to release ‘Coronavirus’

No sooner did the government announce the theatres could be opened in unlock 5, than RGV announced the release of his film ‘Coronavirus’. As per RGV himself, his film ‘Coronavirus’ will be becoming the first film to get released in theatres since the declaration of lockdown.

On Wednesday evening, Ministry of Home Affairs declared the guidelines to be followed under the phase of Unlock 5. Unlock 5 provides relaxation to certain institutions like theatres, schools, gatherings etc from lockdown. As per the guidelines, both single screen theatres and multiplexes will be allowed to open with 50% of their full capacity. Unlock 5 guidelines comes into effect from October 15, 2020

RGV ready to release ‘Coronavirus’:

As soon as Unlock 5 was announced, RGV took to twitter and announced the release of his latest movie CARONAVIRUS. As per the tweets of RGV, the film is based on the situation of a family amid Covid-19 circumstances. However the release date hasn’t been revealed yet.

The peculiarity of the film is that the entire film was shot during the lockdown and will probably be the first film to have a theatrical release after theatres lifted out of lockdown. The film features Srikanth Iyengar in the main role as father of the family, while ‘Happy Days’ fame Vamsi Chaganti playing his son. The setting of a family trapped in their own emotions during covid situation is evident through the trailers of the film.
